Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Starin Solutions, LLC, through Shifts & Gigs Vegas (“SGV”), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the platform.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, company or organization, email, phone, account credentials, and account status.
- Candidate Information: location, work interests, skills, experience, availability, About Me information, uploaded resume files, contact-visibility choices, and related profile information.
- Employer information: company information, contact information, selected plan, account status, and listing activity.
- Payment-confirmation information: payment method, sender name, confirmation or transaction information when supplied, and submission/verification status. SGV does not currently process card payments through these Candidate and Employer flows.
- Listings and messages: content submitted to the platform, including SGV Messages.
- Technical and usage information: logs, browser/device information, IP address, timestamps, cookies or similar technologies, and analytics information.
2. How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve SGV.
- Create and manage Candidate and Employer accounts.
- Display approved Candidate Information to approved Employers according to Candidate visibility choices.
- Display and manage listings.
- Provide SGV messaging and send notifications that messages are waiting.
- Verify submitted payment information and administer access.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and violations of platform rules.
- Respond to support, privacy, security, legal, and administrative requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce platform agreements.
3. Candidate Visibility
Candidate Information is not intended for general public browsing. Approved Employers may search approved Candidate Information. Candidates control whether their email and phone are displayed to Employers and may enable contact through SGV Messages instead.
4. Sharing
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate hosting, email, analytics, security, or other platform functions; to other users where necessary to provide requested platform functionality; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, security, and platform integrity; or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
5. Analytics and Cookies
SGV may use cookies, server logs, and analytics tools to understand site usage, maintain sessions, measure performance, and improve the service. Browser settings may allow you to control certain cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and services, maintain administrative and archived records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Expired or archived content may remain retrievable by administrators even when it is no longer publicly or actively displayed.
7. Security
SGV uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Requests
You may update account/profile information through available account tools. For privacy, access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related requests, contact privacy@shiftsandgigsvegas.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
9. Nevada Users
SGV will process applicable Nevada privacy requests in accordance with Nevada law. Requests should be sent to privacy@shiftsandgigsvegas.com with enough information to identify the account or data at issue.
10. Children
SGV is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe such information has been submitted, contact privacy@shiftsandgigsvegas.com.
11. Changes
We may update this policy prospectively. The effective date above identifies the current version.
