Candidate Terms
1. Candidate Service
SGV allows Candidates to submit Candidate Information for search by approved Employers. A traditional resume is optional unless otherwise stated. Candidates may describe work interests, skills, experience, availability, location, and other relevant information.
2. Fee and Duration
The Candidate posting fee is a $10 one-time payment. Once approved, the Candidate may update Candidate Information indefinitely without an additional Candidate posting fee under the current service model.
3. Self Income Academy
The Candidate service currently includes a Basic Self Income Academy account at no additional charge. Features of that separate service may evolve over time.
4. Approval
Submission and payment do not automatically publish Candidate Information. SGV may review the submission and payment confirmation before approval. SGV may reject, suspend, archive, or remove Candidate Information that violates platform rules or creates legal, fraud, abuse, or safety concerns.
5. Accuracy
Candidates must provide truthful and reasonably current information. Do not claim credentials, licenses, education, experience, authorization, or qualifications you do not possess.
6. Employer Visibility and Contact
Approved Candidate Information is searchable by approved Employers, not intended for unrestricted public browsing. Candidates may choose whether email and phone are shown to Employers and may enable SGV Messages. Candidates understand that any information intentionally made visible to Employers may be viewed, copied, or retained by those Employers.
7. Employer Outreach
SGV may promote or highlight the existence and usefulness of the Candidate Database to Employers. SGV does not guarantee that any particular Candidate will be contacted, interviewed, hired, paid, or selected.
8. Candidate Responsibility
Candidates are responsible for evaluating Employers, opportunities, communications, interview requests, work locations, compensation arrangements, and requests for sensitive information. Never send money or sensitive information merely because someone claims to be an Employer.
9. Payment
All payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law. See the Payment & Refund Policy.
