Listing & Community Standards
Purpose
SGV is intended for legitimate Las Vegas Valley jobs, gigs, services, service requests, projects, Candidate Information, and eligible paid opportunities. Users must communicate honestly and professionally.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, identity theft, deceptive recruiting, or intentionally false claims.
- Illegal goods, services, activities, or work.
- Discriminatory listings or conduct prohibited by applicable law.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate, or abusive communications.
- Misleading compensation, hidden material conditions, bait-and-switch offers, or fake opportunities.
- Requests for improper upfront payments, gift cards, cryptocurrency transfers, check-cashing schemes, or other suspicious financial activity.
- Spam, duplicate abuse, keyword stuffing, scraping, bulk extraction, or unauthorized commercial solicitation.
- Posting another person's personal information without authorization.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Malware, credential theft, unauthorized access attempts, or interference with SGV systems.
Compensation and Material Terms
Listings should accurately describe compensation or explain when compensation varies. Material requirements, schedules, location expectations, licenses, physical requirements, or costs imposed on a worker should not be intentionally concealed.
Candidate Information
Candidate profiles must be truthful and may not contain fraudulent credentials, impersonation, unlawful content, or information belonging to another person without authorization.
Enforcement
SGV may reject, edit for formatting, hide, archive, suspend, or remove content or accounts that violate these Standards or create material legal, fraud, abuse, or safety concerns. Serious misconduct may be reported to appropriate authorities where warranted.
